As shown in the below table, the Hokkaido University Co-operative Association (Co-op) provides a range of on-campus services to the students. In addition, there are a lot of convenience stores, supermarkets and ¥100 discounts stores shops around the university area.

Convenience Store
Some convenience stores are open for 24 hours while others close around midnight. They sell groceries, magazines and miscellaneous daily goods. ATM are available in some stores with small transaction fees.
Supermarket
Supermarkets around the campus are also open 24 hours, and many of them have discounts weekly or daily on various types of products.
¥100 Shop
As the name suggests, in ¥100 shops, most of the items are ¥100, and there are a variety of goods including stationary, kitchenware, bathroom supplies and some foods.
