Supporter Recruitment for Newly Arrived International Students

The Academic Affairs Department is recruiting students to support international students who will be arriving in Japan in October 2025.
When you first came to Japan, you were likely supported by Japanese students or senior international students. Now it’s your turn to support the newcomers!

Eligibility:

• Sufficient Japanese language skills to provide support, and basic conversational English ability
• Must be enrolled at Hokkaido University (including research students)
• Must have permission for “activities outside of status of residence”
• Must be able to watch the orientation video (to be viewed at home after selection)

Support Tasks:

ssisting with procedures at ward offices, banks, and post offices

Support Dates:

One or more full weekdays between September 19 and October 10, 2025 (Excluding weekends and public holidays)

Compensation:

¥1,060 per hour
